When I told her to let go and let God, I wondered whether the day will come when I'll be eating those words along with a very poignant slice of heartbreak pie.
God, be merciful to these two best friends in my life and reveal yourself to them such that they see not through worldly rose-tinted lenses. For we often let emotions blind us to who You truly are and all that You're offering to us.
And of that, I know all too well.
Teach us to gaze upon the cross of Calvary.
